San Sebastian Gastronomika tribute to Heston Blumenthal
The San Sebastian Gastronomika Euskadi Basque Country 2025 Tribute Award will be presented to British chef Heston Blumenthal.
Considered one of the most important and revolutionary chefs in contemporary culinary history, Blumenthal has built a gastronomic empire employing over 700 people. In the early years of the 21st century, he challenged Ferran Adrià for world leadership and was voted the world's best chef in 2005 by The 50 Best Restaurants list, after bringing his restaurant The Fat Duck to the forefront of the global gastronomy scene.
